Lifeyear OÜ – Terms of Use

1. Scope and purpose

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Lifeyear Specialist Dashboard ("Dashboard") by authorised healthcare professionals and other authorised users ("Users").

The Dashboard is provided to support clinical care, service evaluation, and approved research activities in cooperation with healthcare institutions in Estonia.

2. Eligibility and access

Access to the Dashboard is limited to Users who:

  • are authorised healthcare professionals or otherwise authorised by a participating healthcare organisation;
  • have been granted access credentials by Lifeyear OÜ or an authorised partner organisation.

Users must not share their login credentials with any other person.

3. Permitted use

The Dashboard may only be used for:

  • clinical care and monitoring of patients, where appropiate;
  • activities related to approved research or service evaluation;
  • other purposes expressly agreed with Lifeyear OÜ and the relevant healthcare organisation.

Any use of the Dashboard for personal, commercial, or unauthorised purposes is prohibited.

4. User responsibilities

By using the Dashboard, the User agrees to:

  • use the Dashboard in accordance with applicable laws, professional standards, and institutional policies;
  • ensure the confidentiality and security of login credentials;
  • immediately notify Lifeyear OÜ of any suspected unauthorised access or security incident;
  • access only data that is necessary for their authorised role.

5. Data protection and confidentiality

Personal data processed through the Dashboard is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Users are required to maintain confidentiality of patient data and any other sensitive information accessed through the Dashboard.

6. Availability and changes

Lifeyear OÜ aims to ensure the availability and reliability of the Dashboard but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Lifeyear OÜ may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue the Dashboard (or parts of it) where necessary, including for maintenance, security, or regulatory reasons.

7. Suspension or termination of access

Lifeyear OÜ may suspend or terminate a User’s access to the Dashboard if:

  • these Terms of Use are breached;
  • access is no longer required or authorised by the relevant healthcare organisation;
  • continued access poses a security, legal, or compliance risk.

8. Liability

The Dashboard is provided "as is" for professional use.

Lifeyear OÜ is not responsible for clinical decisions made by Users based on information available through the Dashboard. Clinical responsibility remains with the treating healthcare professionals.

9. Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia.
