Lifeyear named among Estonia’s top 10 healthtech startups for 2026
6 July 2026

Lifeyear has been named among Estonia’s top 10 healthtech startups for 2026 by Fomo.Observer, in a feature covering ten companies building health technology out of Estonia for international markets.
The feature describes Lifeyear as “building an intelligent operating system for digital cardiology”, quoting Co-founder and CEO Siim Saare on how the platform lets cardiology teams manage patients between appointments, titrate medication to guideline targets, and catch deterioration before it leads to a hospital admission. It also highlights the Estonian-British make-up of the team, with Co-founder and Chief Medical Officer Dr Eleanor Wicks bringing NHS clinical experience, and Lifeyear’s backing from Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which invited the company to its market access programme and later became a shareholder.
As the feature notes, Lifeyear’s platform is already live in Estonia’s largest hospitals, several UK pilots are starting this year, and the company is in early conversations in the US, having raised €1.3 million in a pre-seed round and now raising a seed round.
